Patron tequila
6 lime slices
Open a beer. Fill it to the top with tequila. Squeeze a lime slice over the open bottle (this creates the “fog”). Chug until it tastes like you are chugging straight beer. Sip the balance at your own pace.
Our comments: Wade and I Rode 1,000 miles up the Baja peninsula on quads, the perfect father-son adventure. I didn’t know quite what to expect, but somewhere along the way I thought I would find the perfect setting for Wade’s first tequila shot. You know, a father-son moment. We found this drink at a windsurfing camp (Punta San Carlos) on the Pacific coast halfway up the peninsula on the Pacific coast. It was the perfect place, and perhaps this was the perfect drink. Wade settled for a first beer instead ... a very promising sign for the next generation. I am definitely returning to Punta San Carlos some day. The bartender promised me this drink would turn an ordinary pool party into something special. I can’t wait to try it.
